This is a story of how my side hustle generated $1616 based on 1 tweet and lessons learnt on marketing a product with minimal effort, time and resources.

I run a side hustle UXStamps.com as a hobby, a stamp for UX designers that makes it easy and organised to create UX flows on paper. As a side hobby, I don’t have alot of time to put into the project. One day, I woke up to 10 shopify orders overnight. Seeing the shopify orders notification fill up your phone is such a satisfying feeling.

So I did some digging to find out WHY this was happening. I looked at the sources of traffic and discovered that it was coming from twitter. I did some digging around and finally found the tweet.

This tweet got a ridiculous 368 retweets, 137 quote tweets and 2.9K likes. It lead to 49 orders over the next 2 days and 2,808 store store sessions.

Thank you Amy Zima for the tweet!

This is not the first time UX stamps went mini-viral. My cofounder has covered it in his previous posts before.
